Earlier on in the year I booked SYD-MCY with JQ. I paid something like 99 for the fare. The flight was supposed to depart around 2pm but JQ decided to cancel this flight and have only a morning and eveing flight. I was offered a refund and the money came quick-smart!

Also I flew JQ AVV-BNE just yesterday and I received 3 flight change emails from them.

I also booked a super cheap ADL-AVV for $29 but that was also changed. I rang the JQ number and it was engaged (apparently changes had affected alot of people) but finally got through and was also given a refund quick smart. The changes went like so:

So from now on if I book a JQ flight I am expecting and will be waiting to receive an email referring to flight changes. Had my first JQ flight yesterday and the plane was an A320 and was very comfortable - pitch was fine and colours are nice. The flight attendants were amazing - 4 female and 1 male and were constantly smiling and walking up and down the cabin. Apart from the flight schedule changes, my first experience with JQ aka Deathstar has been quite good.
