10000 HH points = 1500 AA miles
10000 PC points = 2500 AA miles

Or...

One night at a high end Hilton: 40000 HH
One night at a high end IC: 30000 PC

Or...

6 nights at a ahigh end Hilton: 175,000 HH
6 nights at a high end PC: 180,000 PC

I tend to look at the amount of points that I am trading and what my own goals/needs are. With that aside I find PC points easier to use and value them slightly higher than a hh point. Maybe 1 PC : 1.2 IC

It all depends.
