I don't have a super-recent stay there, but I was there in '04 and thought it was a perfectly fine hotel. Just remember to do a few weeks of hillwork at home before traveling to Seattle!
As a Gold, I received a nice upgrade and good service all around. Loved the rooftop bar: we enjoyed having a drink up there at least once a day - again, great staff. (We don't generally eat hotelfood simply because we like getting out for local flavor, but in this case the restaurant looked quite nice as well.)
Free parking within a couple blocks of the hotel was easy to get. We either parked on the bridge (over I-5, literally a hundred yards or less from the hotel) or a block or two into the neighborhood across I-5. Piece of cake - just pay attention to all of the parking signs. Some streets allow overnight parking but become "No Parking" during rush hour. Others allow parking all the time but require a meter-feed if you are going to there past 8AM.
