Not *that* much shorter...

These additional lines are not always open (esp early morning, and late evening - i.e. busy times), and they not very well policed (esp. at busy times, when they are needed most). They work really well at 3pm on a wet Tuesday afternoon in February when there is only one half-full airbus arriving at T1

Try using them at T3 or T4 at peak time, and it's chaos. Does not help that the can-barely-speak-English queue marshalls do not police the line. Don't tell me that all those mainland Chinese tour groups and extended Nigerian and Pakistani families and their entourages are all UK permanent residents???

I am rapidly using up my stack of pink fast track passes... and, after the hefty taxes I pay to HM Treasury, that really irks me!!!
