Over the past month or so, about 50% of my calls (I'm just a 2P) have ended up being answered in India. The agents there seem to be following a carefully written script - and if you fly enough to know exactly what you want and how they should be doing it, it's an extremely frustrating experience. Each time I've said "sorry, got to go", tried again and got a skilled agent, usually in Honolulu, Denver or Canada. I'm glad United is saving a few bucks up front on their labor costs-- but this is just stupid. Their savings are costing me and other customers quality time. Further, if they're going to charge me $5 for the "service" at least give me good service.
