That's what I would've done too. Especially if I was in downtown NYC - I'd probably have quickly popped into a Parade shoe store and picked up a new pair I find those good value

Somehow to me shoes never feel right again after they've been repaired. Maybe cobblers just aren't that great here in Malaysia.
