I would have thought so. I believe CPT-NBO-AMS on KQ is an allowable routing, and you could use your stopover in NBO. That means no stopover in AMS/CDG.
What are the rules about stopovers if there is an available flight the same day but no award availability? E.g., if you wanted to go CPT-AMS-EWR and there was J availability on Monday to AMS but nothing until Friday to EWR, would that count as a stopover and prevent you taking your stopover somewhere else on the routing?
