It's called scheduling and the range/size of the plane. The 45 777's are stretched to the limit on international routes as it is, in fact, many here are wondering how AA is going to schedule the 2 new routes to Shanghai and Delhi.

That's why these planes are not used for domestic routes. There are few re-positioning/extension domestic routes, but that's about it.

Not at all, we are talking about the same thing, but differently, I think. It would be nice to have a 3 cabin service coast-to-coast...that's all.

You're right about DEL, I tried booking today for 11/15 and couldn't. At 7,500 miles, I am sure the 777 will be on flying on fumes by the time it lands as I suspect might be already the case to NRT !
