Cigarman - Please research before you spread your untruths here. The a/c can be turned on when the engines are on. Just like your car! CO (or the pilots) were obviously negligent if they knew how hot is was and that there is LIVE cargo in the hold. Also, I think you should apologize to your wife! She is right and you are wrong! Also, the dog probably escaped because she wanted to get out of the kennel. I would imagine you would do the same to try to escape the heat. Insensitive is the nicest word I can describe you.
Craz - If it was such a risk to transport the dogs, then CO shouldn't have offered the service! By offering the service, they promised that they would care of the dogs (i.e. providing reasonable temperatures for the dogs)!
Do you two even own pets??? If you do, you might (just maybe) understand that pets are part of the family for some people.
