OK. I know this asked about the RC, but for a first time visit to HK, or even for regular visits, consider the Intercontinental on the Kowloon side. Search this forum, but everyone agrees it has one of the best views of any hotel in the world.

Great pool, great restaurant, five minute walk to the Star Ferry (a nickle each way).

Oh, and did I mention the view?
