Starwood definitely practices it. When I was looking at packages offered at a resort hotel anonymously, the prices for packages were lower than the same packages listed when I was logged in as a "Starwood Preferred Guest".
(I ended up using an 50% off award in the end... only reservable by telephone)
I wonder what kind of heat/investigation this practice would be coming under? F.T.C. scrutiny or?
