Any experiences of the Takanawa Prince hotel since the recent refurbishment?

Utell has some pretty reasonable prices for the Takanawa Prince for stays of three days or more and I like the idea of staying somewhere surrounded by a park and trees (walking through some parts of Tokyo often feels like moving aross the surface of a giant piece of nylon fabric bristling with static - I'm willing to trade in room size for a chance of midnight walk in some fresh air). In contrast to the tired decor of last year, the photographs now on the Prince Hotels website make the rooms look quite nice (although still a little cramped). Has anybody stayed there since March and are there any rooms that have particularly good views towards Tokyo I could ask for (I have a Prince International card fwiw)
BTW, the rate for 2 is from 11,500 yen plus taxes (about 1,800 yen)

FYI - I saw some rates for the Takanawa Prince in July & August for their 4 room Japanese Suites going at 30,000 yen a night (some days at 25,000) through their own website - sleeps up to 4.

DOH! YES - I did mean Takanawa (not the high mountain Takayama). What an idiot!!! Thanks for pointing that out Calcifer (I'll excuse myself as it was hot yesterday and I was off work sick)
