The Riverplace Hotel is right on the Willamette and is probably one of the nicer hotels in town and just completed a $3 million renovation. They have full and partial river view rooms. The Avalon is a couple miles from downtown, but right on the river. The only other hotel directly overlooking the water is the Marriott on Front Street. Enjoy your trip.
