Hi, and welcome to FlyerTalk. You're obviously new here, and that's cool, but you should keep some things in mind when you post. First, you don't have a location noted in your profile. From your post we assume it's DTW, but it could be FNT or GRR or who knows where else. Second, you didn't post any information about your search criteria. Which dates were you looking to travel on? Are you sure you were searching for economy seats?

I question because I just performed a search on multiple dates from DTW-LAS and I keep pulling up $329.79 airfare + 30,000 Miles to upgrade. Not necessarily the best deal, but certainly loads better than what you quoted.

Edit: It's possible you were searching "Full fare" Y-class seats, too, which you don't need, unless you only want to burn 10,000 miles each way. Otherwise the standard 15,000 miles each way applies here to a much lower fare.
