I stayed at the DT for a week two years ago. It isn't in the heart of the action, but the shuttle was convenient and ran on-time. Key West isn't a large place -- it doesn't take much to get downtown. The hotel staff was excellent, and the rooms were very nice. Good service and clean all around. They gave us a round on the house at the bar each night, too. I'd stay there again, though I'd be tempted by the Hilton down on the water -- but the price isn't always right. The DT was very nice overall. Not unpleasant in the least while we were there.
