As I posed in an earlier thread, I found out that NWA WorldClub members have access to the AF Business Class lounge at CDG 2E, while CRC members have to sit out in the hallway (unless they're SkyTeam Elite Plus or travelling on a premium class ticket). I wrote Delta asking about this inequity and thought everyone would be interested in the response:
Dear Mr. JimRPA,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding our partnership with Air France.
Your comments have been forwarded to the department that monitors responses from our most valued customers like yourself. We appreciate your loyalty, and value your feedback. We are unfortunately, unable to offer any updates with regards to changes in our partnership at this time.
SkyTeam member airlines operate over 390 lounges worldwide.
" All international First and Business Class passengers traveling on a same day flight operated by a SkyTeam member have access to these exclusive facilities.
" SkyTeam Elite Plus* members, regardless of their travel class, also have access to most SkyTeam lounges as long as travel is in conjunction with a same-day international connection on a SkyTeam operated flight. In addition, SkyTeam Elite Plus members are allowed to invite a guest to join them in the lounge.
We appreciate your interest in Delta Air Lines.
Sincerely,
Rae Thomas

Pretty much a non-response (like I really expected anything else

) I wonder if it's time for Delta to begin shopping around for another alliance to join? How hard would it be for Delta to join oneWorld? (I suggest oneWorld only because of BA. It might be something of a stick in AF's eye if Delta were to dump France for Britian).
