I've just bought a ticket SEA-GRU on studentuniverse.com. Besides being much cheaper than published fares, it has pretty flexible terms (refundable for $125, etc) so it was a no-brainer. It was booked in S and T classes; the fare code doesn't show up on united.com.

A few people reported getting miles for United flights booked through studentuniverse, even while the site explicitly says united flights don't accrue miles. Does anybody have any recent experiences, one way or another? Should I call united and enquire? (without mentioning studentuniverse, just saying "can you check whether this reservation is miles-earning") or do I risk having the PNR flagged?
