There is a fixed taxi rate VCE-Venice. One buys the ticket in the airport. I think it was€80.

I have water taxied from the train sta to San marco(danieli or E&R) a number of times. Has never been under €80.

I think you either water taxi all the way or do a supersaver with the bus and vaporetto(never done it).
