Back in March, my mom who was with us and in a wheelchair was taken from the plane via a lift. We were told we could not accompany her, but they would meet us at security. To make a long story short, she was taken directly to the gate of our next flight (they bypassed security... we almost missed our flight since we waited for her at security like we had been told to. (At one point, a French DL rep told us that CDG was not loglcal, like American airports...understatement of the century.) I will never be separated from a family member again at CDG... they'll have to take me to jail first. Hopefully, it won't be an issue as I hope I never have to fly through this airport again. It REALLY is as bad as people say.

Disabled passengers need to register with AF at least 48 hours before their scheduled flight. These special services are available at all destinations served by AF. In metropolitan France and French overseas territories, these services are called SAPHIR.
