Route and Aircraft Changes 2006

I don't know if all of this is news to everybody, but I was poking around on the web today and discovered some changes to the CO long-haul sched. for next year (I was searching last half May, 2006 and compared to last half July, 2005). Don't know if some of these might be seasonal changes, but it looks like there are some definite modifications to the sched. to accomodate some of the newer routes.

EWR-FCO (Rome): now 2 flts daily 767; next year 1 flt daily 767

EWR-MAN: now 2 flts daily 767 & 757; next year dropping the 767 to offer only 1 flight daily on 757

EWR-LGW: now 2 flts daily 777 & 777; next year dropping one of the 777's and replacing with a 767 (probably the one from the MAN route)

EWR-BHX: now 2 flts daily 757; next year dropping one flight (and probably redirecting to the MAN route)

EWR-FRA: now one flt daily 777; next year reducing to the 767 (probably to accomodate the Delhi service)

EWR-MEX: now offer 2 flts daily 737. Dropping route altogether, with new routing via a cnxn at IAH. This wasn't long-haul service in the strictest sense, but Int'l service nonetheless, and I thought this move very interesting).

IAH-NRT: now offer daily 777 service; Dropping route altogether next year, it appears. Now showing up as NW codeshares cnxn via LAX or MSP on co.com.

IAH-GRU (Sao Paulo): now offer daily 767 service; dropping route altogether next year, with new routing showing up as a cnxn at EWR.

So the EWR-FRA, EWR-LGW, and IAH-NRT 777s are being shifted. DLH is one obvious reason that would take 2 of the birds, I presume. Any clues as to why the third shift?
