Unhappy Are airfare taxes/fees esp. high to Mexico?
I am looking at a fare for LAX-CJD (Cabo San Lucas). The base fare is only $158 RT, BUT the "Applicable taxes, segment fees, airport facility charges and/or September 11th security fees" are $93.63 That is more than 50% in taxes/fees and seems extremely HIGH. Is this because it's Mexico? BTW, this is on a NS via Alaska Air.
