That's all... also we won't be in the hotel much, come in late at night and leave early in the morning to do some sightseeing in Boston. ...So we don't need a 300$ room or (category 3 or 4 room) that we will barely stay in anyway. Since you work in Woburn can you tell us a little about the place. Is it clean, quiet and safe as a city. Is it a beautiful city? Any of you comments will be helpful. Thanks!
I think your plan is fine and I would adivse spending your time in Boston & Cambridge. Boston is a very nice city.

My personal preference when visiting cities is to spend more money/points on the hotel and save by not renting & parking a car. However, I am weird by American standards anyway, since I don't even own a car at home. :-)

I am afraid you aren't going to like the following...

I don't usually spend any time in Woburn, actually. I work north of the intersection of 93 and 128 and live in Boston's Back Bay.

For better or worse Woburn's main claim to fame revolves around the (allegedly) toxic groundwater. There is even a book and a movie about the whole story. See http://www.civil-action.com/

Disclaimer: I don't know any real details about this, I only moved to Boston half a year ago and my company is based in Woburn because office space is apparently really cheap in Woburn after the Superfund sponsored cleanup :-(
