(1) Attention Moderator! This really belongs in the priceline forum, it's not important enough to take up space here.

(2) Nobody "accidentally" bids on priceline. You have to enter your credit card # before purchasing, plus billing info and the secret code. And then hit enter. At that point everybody knows that they can be charged.

(3) Why on earth would you bid on a room if you didn't think you would get it??? Admittedly, I myself have been know to submit lowball offers. But when they are accepted I am 100% delighted for snagging a tremendous bargain. If you don't feel the same way, you shouldn't be using priceline.

You have nothing to complain about. If you bid too much you should do your homework next time by checking rates and visiting biddingfortravel.
