It's a big plane too! Not sure where or if the plane(s) sit on the rest of their route, or if it just shuttles back and forth once a day.
KL is close (208), but regulated. They fly 777's and 737's on that route.
Jakarta is 550 miles and pretty packed from what I have seen. Now if they had another aircraft and flew SIN-SYD-LAX-NRT-SIN and SIN-NRT-LAX-SYD-SIN in a large circles over 48 hours......(SQ would have a cow....)
