In the monthly statement it shows 'total available points' as the purchase points doubled (suppose you have more flight points), so obviously those Global Impact reps couldn't see that number?
And you didn't have to buy a travel certificate from thankyouredemption.com before you called Global Impact, but you were able to check flight availability before they deducted any points from you? That's good news.
