Should be no problem. I have had no problem connecting in CLT even when I had less than 30 minutes. The front section of C has a few more inches of space which you can reserve at time of ticketing. Check out www.seatguru.com for best and worst seats. The IFE is nice on the 330, but you have to pay for liquor.
