Hi, thanks again. Where would I be without this board?

I am a UK citizen and this is a morning flight. Yes, unfortunately this concerns me abandoning the LGW-AMS flight and jumping on a NCL-bound plane instead. I hate being rushed but this time I have no choice. I'd prefer to get a later connection and just mull around in the Terraces but need to be back for a friend's wedding in Sunderland at 1:15pm so the latest I can get to NCL is about midday.

There is a 9:50am flight leaving from Heathrow but I can't see that helping either as it takes about 1hr 15m to get there from Gatwick and the earliest bus I could take leaves at 7:50am. I was hoping that I'd be able to do the 50 min connection at LGW instead. I will just have hand baggage.

So I guess I just have to book and pray that my incoming flight is ontime? I'd imagine if I were to miss my NCL connection and attempt to get help from BA they'll eye me in a rather odd way and mention that I'm supposed to be on a flight to AMS later that afternoon. Unless anyone can think of another way to get me to NCL for about midday?
