Yes, CX F is good if you are awake. I have only ever had a single CX F sector awake and that was in the month that I did the 76000 miles. It was a short sector as well. The rest of the CX stuff, I am there to sleep.
You could try the day flight back from HKG if you wanted to be pampered. This is fairly good for the jetlag but only sleep once during the day flight for 35 to 40 minutes and no more. Otherwise, you will be all over the place on landing.
However, as a regular F on BA and QF, I cannot comment as I do not drink alcohol, am not fussed by most food (except the odd icecream and QF do that in economy) and I hardly ever watch/listen to the IFE. Sleep, work or fail to chat up the trolley dolley is my life on-board.
