I have been offered a job with Veterans Affairs in France- a little out of the blue! I had applied for the summer term as a tour guide and was put on the waiting list. I'm at home now, working, and they called me today for the fall term. I am still working out school details- I was due to start my 4th and final year at McMaster this fall, so I would take the term off.

So, I am now in a scramble because I have to respond tomorrow morning. I have to be there on or by Aug 7th and the last date I am there is Dec 4th. I would want to leave around the 1st of Aug and visit my boyfriend in Stuttgart before. The cheapest I am getting into CDG is around $1200-$1400. The best deal that I have found was AC.com into LHR for $1084 inc. taxes, but then I have to get to Stuttgart on the way there and get from the small town in N. France to LHR in Dec.

This is my ideal itin., but I doubt I can find it for a good price: YYZ-MUC/FRA/LHR/CDG-STR Aug 1st, CDG-YYZ Dec 6th. I would take the train to Stuttgart from where ever if I couldn't fly in, or try to book a seperate ticket.

As a side note, this trip would make me P, after two other trips to Germany this year. Though, I have no big trips planned for next year, so I doubt it would ever do me any good!!!

So... if anyone has found any fares or knows of a secret website with great prices, please let me know!
