We stayed there about two years and i suppose the best that can said it was unremarkable.
Standard Hampton just outside the the town ( Glenwood Springs is not that big anyway) cannot be more than a cat 1 or 2.
Got what appeared to be a standard room at $109 which was about the limit I would ever pay for this place, no issues with room, staff etc that I can recall.
Interesting little town, by far the best hotel would be the turn of the century Hotel Colorado just across from the public hot spings bath. Lots of little art galleries, restaurants etc.
If you have the time take to climb up to Doc Hallidays grave and a great view of the surrounding area.
