For $29.99 per month ($19.99 if you have a T-Mobile phone), you can get a monthly subscription to the T-Mobile HotSpot WiFi Internet service, which is what is provided at United Red Carpet Clubs and some other airline lounges. If I recall correctly, signing up with a credit card is nearly instantaneous. For US domestic business travel, I highly recommend a T-Mobile HotSpot subscription because they partner with Starbucks, so nearly all Starbucks locations (except those inside airports) have T-Mobile HotSpot. They also partner with other chains as well (e.g., Hyatt hotels), but Starbucks are nearly ubiquitous. International roaming with T-Mobile HotSpot partners used to be free, alas no longer, but the pricing still seems competitive vs. paying the local WiFi provider directly for their day pass.
