Don't forget that with some of the Asian carriers, like SQ, they have an arbitrary age limit on FAs (usually around 30) and move them into desk jobs afterward.
One of my benchmarks on long hauls is how often they show up with water trays or just walk-throughs even when only a third of the cabin is awake.
Have long thought the Asian cariers beat the U.S. ones on the in-the-air service, but the stuff on the ground involving computers and the FF programs are still big U.S. advantages.
