Part of Route 55 from Hwy 10 to connect to Hwy 91 in the US is built with concrete instead of Asphalt ( i believe it must be more than 10 years). I have always asked myself why they didn't use concrete for the highways. Then they started using it in Laval and now someone has seen the light on the island. Mind you the design cum drainage is another beast though they have been doing some good planning on Hwy 40 ( I live on the west island) so far.
