Wouldn't that be half-way up the M3 to LHR

Seriously, I bet that poor coverage you are referring to is that stretch between exit 2 and 3 (M25 to Bracknell). I often wondered if it was due to the proximity of the military research place at Chobham.

The dead-spot on the M3 has been there for years - someone told me years ago that military research places have deliberate cellular dead-spots around them but I don't know if this is still true. Certainly if you drive past the Pentagon in DC there is a dead-spot around that area.

Anyone know?
