Not just the marginal cost but the opportunity cost, of course. If we assume that the NCW seat occupies the same space as, say, 2.5 WT seats, then the break-even is 2.5x the revenue of the WT seat plus the marginal cost. This should be our starting point for the true value of premium travel.
