Additionally one wouldn’t want to reduce any benefits of Gold [especially one’s which make the difference between Koru, *G and NZ*Gold].

Using my logic which defies logic I deduce that it is because the AKL-LAX segment is higher yield, whereas the LAX-LHR segment has lost money consistently over the last few years.
