Admittedly, nobody has to worry about the flight described (entire exit row of 6 seats blocked for fewer-than-that FAs) SCL - USH as being AA - it was the old LAN (would that be "LAN Classic?") I mentioned it for comparison...

There have been times I have seen FA's eat First Class meals. Particularly when they come by and ask us what we want for dinner and I tell them ("just give me the starter and a glass of wine," or less,) as we've eaten what we want in the Flagship Lounge in LAX or ORD and want to get on board and sleep. We also hope they do get a chance to eat... since AA stopped loading meals for Flight Attendants as a cost-saving measure. (Come on, AA, what can it cost, compared to a morale booster... As brilliant as killing SOS instead of modifying it! )

The luxury! The glamor! Free travel! High wages, and guaranteed pensions! Oh, yeah...
