Good and Bad in Vegas

Beware manicures at Canyon Ranch Vegas
Just a "heads up" that massages are fine at the Canyon Ranch spa in the Venetian, but strongly recommend you NOT book a manicure there. The manicurist was busy talking to a fellow co-worker who stopped by to chat. She filed so fast she broke one of my nails, then nipped me...twice --- drawing blood! I did complain at checkout, but was given a vapid "so sorry" and still charged $42...

Awesome hairdresser

On the positive side, I have found a phenomenal hairdresser in Vegas, and now schedule with her whenever I am heading there. Her name is Victoria and she is at the Westin (was at the Aladdin, but was recruited by the Westin spa manager last year ) I discovered her when I was very overdue for a haircut and found out my CEO had booked a camera crew to videotape me for our new corporate video (yikes, who wants a bad hair day captured on film for eternity!). Another time she rescued a bad haircut I had recently received at home. She is a wizard with scissors!
