My partner and I are thinking about going to either Phuket or Bali next year. It seems like there is more of a gay presence in Phuket so we are leaning more towards Phuket.

If we use our hotel points for lodging are options would be the Marriott or the Sheraton but neither seem to be near the gay area. Has anyone stayed at either? Which would you recommend? How far is it from either hotel to the gay area?
