anything is an upgrade of that fare class to first. You'll only see it on your OnePass statement, not on the boarding pass or reservation online.
You may already know this part, but in case not, here goes: on your online reservation, an EUA shows up as fare class
R (First), even though you paid for coach. Your purchased economy fare class then disappears, never to be seen again. So, if you want to track your paid fare classes, wait for your OP statement, or print your itin right after you book, before any EUAs happen. (Or, as is more frequently the case,
if any EUAs happen.)
