Since you have the points, you should use the "European Holiday" under "New Redemption Opportunities Exclusively For Elite Members" We just used the award to stay 4 Nights at the Westin Excelsior Florence, 2 Nights at the Westin Excelsior Rome, and 3 nights at the Sheraton Park Tower in London. We spent 66,990 points for the seven night deal and an extra 24,000 points for our extra two nights in London.

I'm not sure why, we are only SPG Gold, but we seemed to be automatically upgraded in each hotel we stayed at. In Florence we were offered a Junior Suite on check in, which we turned down in favor of a regular room 2 floors higher that overlooked the square and river. In Rome we were upgraded to a fifth floor room with a balcony!! In London, we were upgraded for free to a 10th floor room overlooking Hyde Park, with a view of Big Ben in the distance. I can only assume it had something to do with our booking code??

Our total was 90,990 points for nine nights in 3 cities, I'm not sure if you can beat that in Europe!
