I think the Terraces product is pretty reasonable. Never any trouble getting somewhere to sit in comfort, enjoy a good cup of coffee or have some booze. If you're travelling CW you need to factor in your Molton Brown visit not to mention the Arrivals lounge - the shower and hot breakfast does make a difference I think.

I also appreciate the quiet areas when travelling for leisure - I don't want to be surrounded by suits who are incapable of putting their mobile 'phone down and insist on carrying out pointless conversations, preferably at a volume consistent with that of a small pneumatic drill.

I've also found, on the one occasion I've had to use it, the service desk in the T1 terraces lounge was brilliant - sorted out my problem with a minimum of fuss and a smile, even thought the poor woman was harrassed beyond belief that particular morning.

There was also a memorable occasion in T1 where the fire alarms went off and Joe Public was evacuated, but (and this really made me smile) "those passengers in the BA Terraces lounge, please stay where you are and enjoy our facilities". Maybe they wanted us to burn to death...
