Yes, but you are not a US citizen, right? So that is a whole different line, whole different ballpark since ConcordeBoy is from New Orleans.

I have never seen the US citizen line at EWR be more than 20 minutes, usually less. I've been through it about 50 times.

It is federal law that you must clear immigration at first port of entry, not CO policy.
