Get a BA Gold card or (for the equivalent of Silver, roughly) OW Emerald in another programme and you won't need to worry about being stuck in the Terraces.

But to respond to your question: I'm not overly keen on the Terraces lounge product, luckily I don't have to use it unless flying back from an outstation where it's the only BA lounge available.

J / C lounges for any airline range from ok (BA Terraces) through to dreadful (UA Red Carpet Club, BD Diamond Club, SQ Silver Kris outside of LHR and SIN, Lufty... the list could go on).

But then contract lounges are even worse: the one BA (GB Airways) uses at RAK, operated by Royal Air Maroc, makes it a better prospect to sit in the cafe area outside.

Agree with you though, I don't think the Terraces lounge product is consistent with NCW, if that's what you're getting at.
