Unfortunately, from the moment I arrived, I felt a little bit uneasy. I think the lady at the front desk threw me a couple of left hooks (I think I asked too many questions

Anyway, I felt the S$400+ price tag was not justified.
Ahh, well in comparison to the GH Dubai the one in SIN is really no match. There has been quite some discussion on the GH SIN in the Hyatt forum and the comments weren't really that flattering even regarding some of the staff (normally a non-issue in most of Asia). Even some Diamonds (Top level) were given a hard time, so I wonder what treatment a Gold (Basic) or Platinum (2nd level) has to endure when daring to mention his/her status, e.g when being Platinum. They probably tell you to "shu... it". Now at Hilton they dont roll out the red carpet for a Gold member (equal to Plat at Hyatt) but normally some recognition is granted.
Anyway. Just remember for your next visit to SIN. If you are willing to spent S$ 400+ then check the rates at the FS and Shangri-La first ... or the RC, Raffles, or Fullerton.
