I thought I would ask Air Canada directly if I could bring in my kids at no extra charge. They replied by quoting me the policy that I had already read about ne guest and then $20 per person. I then asked them for a couple of one-time passes and they referred me back to United (since the trip was arranged through them). Oh well, thought it was worth a try.
