Apparently from May 20th, Lloyds is extending this fantastic offer to all its debit card holders, presumably just in time for the majority of them to bugger off to the sun for two weeks, use their debit cards in place of cash and find they've inadvertently lined the banks coffers some more, but by then it's all too late!
Got a little apology from Lloyds with my statement this month, they changed their minds, the expat accounts will not incurr the charge.
