At 50 miles a day, what's that worth anyway? I'd take the cheaper rate if the money was coming out of my wallet. I'm assuming you're talking about saving $50 or more over the course of a week. For chump change, say a buck a day, I might take the miles.

I've heard of ineligible rates, but not ineligible states. You might try calling back for a different CSR.
