I was wondering how to request the VIP service so that I can get the VIP treatment. I am doing the upgrade as part of my 21st birthday for myself. I want access to the lounge and I know airlines want to make the trip memorable. I know when going to a hotel they will throw in a cool gift.

Anyways I called AA and they said to request VIP at each airport. So I'm assuming this includes the tram to the lounge,and tram to the gate. How can I get a VIP escort to my seat,connecting in HNL and at LAX? Any ideas? Do I board as one of the first or one of the last? Will I get my pre-departure beverage? Also can I ask for a drink when the AC parks at HNL?

I wonder if passengers will notice the VIP treatment? How do I make it so I get the FA to ask me my meal order before doing FEBO(I'm not an elite but I want the VIP treatment)

Also if the agent notes VIP can I get lounge access?

Where is the lounge at HNL in relation to the Interisland Terminal? If I arrive at 10:55 and have a 12:40 flight to Kona and need to have a seat assignment will I have time to go to the lounge?
