This is probably one of those. You will probably get the same high fare if you use a Japanese address.
Assuming this is an eTicket, you could just call LH in Germany to ticket it. Note it is a restriction on location of sales, not nationality.
Gotcha. Interesting. I was not aware of this, but will be ringing LH or Dolomiti tomrorrow to book the Euro based fare. Thanks for your help guys...again!
